Ethan Riccie was born and raised in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. In seventh grade he attended a school devoted to language, where he explored Spanish through writing, poetry, essays, reading, and even music. It was there that his love of writing began.
Today he is an advocate for human creativity and believes we are all born to create. Who we become is shaped by how we grew up and by the stories we were told as children. Through his short stories for young readers, Ethan hopes to spark hope and creativity, and to open a space where children can learn English and Spanish through immersion in the story.
